Aprilia CEO Massimo Rivola used Marco Bezzecchi’s British Grand Prix victory to send a strong public message to injured rider Jorge Martin amidst a contractual dispute. Martin is seeking a way out of his Aprilia contract by invoking a performance clause, despite his limited time on the RS-GP due to injuries. Rivola emphasized that Aprilia is ready to win with Jorge and wants to wait for him with open arms until his contract ends in 2027. Bezzecchi’s outstanding win at Silverstone highlighted the team’s capabilities, aiming to support Martin in his difficult situation. Martin expressed gratitude for the support and hinted at sharing his side of the story soon, acknowledging the challenging weeks. Bezzecchi, who had been working to develop the bike amid the turmoil, acknowledged the team’s efforts and expressed pride in their collective achievements.
